The explanation is that "V-Class" covers a very wide range of vehicles. A standard-length car with a bench layout is a completely different product from a long-wheelbase example with individual reclining rear seats, a partition, upgraded audio and aftermarket conversion work. Both are V-Classes. Only one costs three quarters of a million dirhams.

Why UAE buyers choose a V-Class over an SUV
The logic is clear once you have tried to put three adults in the third row of a seven-seat SUV.
Genuine adult third-row space. In most seven-seat SUVs the rearmost row is for children or short trips. Here it is a real seat.
Luggage with all seats occupied. Using all seven seats in an SUV leaves almost no boot. A V-Class does both at once, which matters enormously for airport runs.
