Free car valuation in UAE. What is your car worth?
Instant, free, and priced against the cars actually listed in the UAE this week. Not a depreciation formula: your car is compared with live CarsClub listings, then adjusted for spec, mileage, condition and history.

How our UAE car valuation works
Most valuation tools apply a fixed depreciation curve to a manufacturer list price. That approach has two problems in this market: there is no free public source of UAE list prices, and a car that lost 15% a year on paper can be worth far more or far less than that on a Dubai forecourt.
We start from the other end. All 1,324 active listings on CarsClub.ae are indexed by make, model, year and spec, and the middle of that group is what your car is measured against. The median is used rather than the average, so one optimistic dealer cannot move it, and the top and bottom of each group are trimmed before the median is taken.
Asking prices are not sale prices, so the market median is discounted to a transacting estimate before your own car is priced. Then five adjustments are applied in order: spec, mileage against what those same comparable cars are showing on the odometer, condition, accident history and service records. Every one of them appears on your result page with the exact figure it moved.
Where a model is thinly listed we say so, widen the range and label the confidence honestly rather than presenting a guess as a market price. You can check our working: the listings your car was priced against are shown to you on the same page. Run the chassis number through our free VIN check before you list, and use the car loan calculator if you are buying next.
The five things that move a price
What affects your car's value in the UAE
GCC spec vs American, Japanese and European spec
GCC cars are built for this climate, with heavier cooling, higher grade air conditioning and dust sealing, and a local dealer warranty behind them. Imports usually have none of that. UAE buyers price American spec around 25% below the GCC equivalent, European around 17% below and Japanese around 12% below.
Mileage and the UAE 20,000 km a year benchmark
Twenty thousand kilometres a year is normal here, well above the European average, because of how far people commute between the emirates. We compare your odometer against what the comparable cars are actually showing rather than against a flat assumption, then adjust by roughly AED 150 per 1,000 km either way, capped at 20% of the value.
Service history and agency records
A full agency book is worth about 3% over a car with partial records, and a car with nothing to show loses about 4%. It is not the servicing itself buyers are paying for, it is the ability to skip their own inspection.
Accident and chassis damage history
A recorded accident costs about 15%, even after a clean repair, and it applies to GCC cars as hard as to imports. Check what is on record with a VIN check before you set your asking price, because a buyer who finds it themselves treats it as something you hid.
Colour, body type and SUV demand
SUVs hold their value best in this market, and the retention table below is our own listing data saying so rather than an opinion. White and silver sell fastest in the Gulf sun; a bold colour narrows the buyer pool and usually the price with it. Browse what is moving in SUVs, used cars or luxury cars.

Trade-in offer vs private sale
What you actually get
A dealer buys to resell, so their offer carries reconditioning, warranty, floor space and margin. In the UAE that gap runs 15% to 25%. On a car worth AED 100,000 that is the difference below, for a few weeks of answering messages.

Questions
Car valuation in the UAE, answered
It depends on the model year, the mileage, the spec it was built for and its accident and service history. A 2019 GCC spec SUV with 90,000 km and full agency records can be worth 20% to 30% more than the same car in American spec with a repaired chassis.
The calculator on this page prices your car against the cars actually listed on CarsClub.ae right now, then adjusts for each of those factors and shows you every adjustment it made.
Yes, completely. There is no fee, no subscription and no obligation to sell through us. You get the figure, the breakdown behind it and the live listings it was priced against.
Listing your car afterwards is also free, and you keep 100% of the sale price.
An online valuation is an estimate, and any tool that claims otherwise is overselling. What separates a useful estimate from a guess is what it is built on: a fixed depreciation formula knows nothing about your car, while a price read off live local listings knows what buyers in this market are being asked for the same thing this week.
We show you the sample size behind every valuation. If your car is priced against 40 live listings we say so, and if it is priced against three we say that too, and we widen the range to match. A final price still depends on the inspection, the paperwork and the day you sell.
GCC spec cars are built for this climate: bigger radiators and cooling packs, higher grade air conditioning, dust and sand sealing, and a warranty the local dealer will honour. An imported American car often has none of that, and the service history usually starts the day it landed.
In practice UAE buyers price American spec around 25% below the GCC equivalent, Japanese imports around 12% below and European imports around 17% below. Those are the adjustments this calculator applies, and it applies them only when your car is being compared against cars of a different spec.
The UAE benchmark is about 20,000 km a year, which is higher than Europe because of the distances people commute here. A car sitting on that line is priced normally.
Every 1,000 km above what is typical for that car costs roughly AED 150, and every 1,000 km below it adds about the same. The adjustment is capped at 20% of the value in either direction, because past a point an odometer reading stops being the thing that decides the price.
Yes, and more than most sellers expect. A recorded accident costs about 15% of the value even after a proper repair, because the next buyer has to explain it to the buyer after them.
It applies to GCC cars exactly as hard as to imported ones. If you are not sure what is on record, run the chassis number through our free VIN check before you list.
A dealer buys to resell, so their offer has to leave room for reconditioning, warranty, floor space and their own margin. In the UAE that gap is usually 15% to 25% below what the same car sells for privately.
A private sale takes longer and means answering messages and arranging viewings. On a car worth AED 100,000 that work is worth AED 15,000 to AED 25,000, which is why most sellers list first and take a dealer offer only if they need the money this week.
Yes. The loan has to be settled before ownership transfers, so you ask your bank for a liability letter, the buyer settles the outstanding amount directly with the bank, and the bank releases the chassis so the transfer can go through at the RTA or the relevant emirate authority.
Most buyers have done this before and it is routine. Tell them early, because a mortgage discovered at the transfer counter is what kills a sale.
