The Ioniq 5 has received some exciting updates for 2025! Although it may look similar to last year’s model, there are some meaningful changes that are sure to impress. One of the most notable changes is the larger battery pack, which has grown from 77.4 kWh to an impressive 84.0 kWh. According to Hyundai, this upgrade will improve the SUV’s range, although we don’t yet know by how much. It’s worth noting that last year’s model had a maximum EPA estimated range of 303 miles, but with this change, we could potentially see the Ioniq 5’s longest-range model reach an impressive 325 miles per charge! Exciting news! This year, the lineup welcomes a sporty-looking N-Line model, complete with unique 20-inch wheels, side skirts, and interior enhancements such as metal pedal covers, a sporty N-Line steering wheel, and upholstery with red stitching. But that’s not all – all models have been updated with fresh front and rear bumper styling, a slightly larger rear spoiler, and a rear windshield wiper – a feature that was badly needed to keep rear visibility from being entirely obscured when driving in rain or snow. The interior sees a few changes too! Namely, in the center console, the wireless smartphone charging pad has been relocated to the top panel, and a new bank of buttons provides quicker access to frequently used features such as the heated seats and heated steering wheel. But wait, there’s more! The infotainment system has been upgraded to the latest version, and several new driver-assistance features join the roster, including a more advanced lane-keeping assist system and a side-impact collision avoidance feature!
