The Zeekr 9X UAE price has been confirmed at AED 369,900 for the entry Ultra trim, rising to AED 439,900 for the top Obsidian. Announced on 11 September 2026 alongside Zeekr's redesigned flagship showroom on Sheikh Zayed Road, the 9X is a full-size luxury SUV with up to 1,380hp and a claimed 1,165km of combined range.

It lands in a segment UAE buyers are already circling. Large luxury SUVs dominate the most-viewed vehicles on CarsClub, and the 9X is priced to sit underneath the established German and British flagships rather than alongside the value-brand Chinese SUVs most people expect.

Zeekr 9X UAE price and trims

Three trims have been confirmed for the UAE, with pricing published at launch:

Trim Price (AED) Powertrain Claimed 0-100 km/h Claimed range
Ultra 369,900 Dual-motor AWD, 885hp 4.2 seconds 1,250 km
Hyper 409,900 Tri-motor, 1,380hp 3.1 seconds 1,165 km
Obsidian 439,900 Tri-motor, 1,380hp 3.1 seconds 1,165 km

Prices as announced by Zeekr UAE and AWR Automotive, 11 September 2026. Figures are manufacturer claims; independent GCC testing has not yet been published.

The AED 70,000 spread between Ultra and Obsidian is unusually narrow for a flagship SUV, and the jump from Ultra to Hyper buys a genuinely different car: a third motor and nearly 500 extra horsepower for AED 40,000. On paper the Hyper is the value trim of the three.

One figure deserves a caveat. The quoted range numbers are combined-cycle claims on a Chinese test standard, not WLTP or EPA. UAE conditions, meaning sustained highway speeds, constant air conditioning and summer heat, will reduce real-world range substantially. Treat 1,250km as a laboratory ceiling, not a Dubai-to-Riyadh guarantee.

Powertrain: 885hp or 1,380hp

The Ultra runs a dual-motor all-wheel-drive setup producing 885hp, which would already make it one of the most powerful SUVs on sale in the UAE. The Hyper and Obsidian add a third motor for a combined 1,380hp and a claimed 3.1-second sprint to 100km/h, figures that put a seven-seat family SUV into supercar territory.

For context, that is more power than almost anything in the luxury car listings on CarsClub short of a dedicated hypercar. Whether 1,380hp is usable on Sheikh Zayed Road is a separate question, but the specification sheet is not bluffing.

Zeekr has confirmed 55kWh and 70kWh battery packs globally, with the larger unit rated at up to 380km of pure electric range on the CLTC cycle. The very large combined-range figures come from the full system rather than the battery alone.

Charging and the 900V architecture

The headline engineering claim is the 900V electrical architecture with 6C ultra-fast charging, which Zeekr says allows a 20 to 80% top-up in around nine minutes on a compatible charger.

That last clause matters more than the nine minutes. A 6C charge rate requires charging hardware that is still rare in the UAE. On the DEWA and Etihad Water and Electricity networks most public chargers deliver far less, so real-world charging stops will be considerably longer than the headline until infrastructure catches up. Buyers doing daily Dubai to Abu Dhabi runs should plan around what is actually installed today, not the car's theoretical maximum.

When does the Zeekr 9X reach UAE showrooms?

Zeekr has confirmed an October 2026 launch, with customer deliveries beginning after that. Pre-bookings are open now.

The car will be sold through Zeekr UAE in partnership with AWR Automotive, and the brand's redesigned flagship showroom on Sheikh Zayed Road in Dubai, unveiled on 9 September 2026 and two days ahead of the 9X announcement, will be the primary retail site. The timing of the two announcements was clearly deliberate.

Because the 9X is not yet in showrooms, no used or demonstrator examples exist in the UAE market. Anyone shopping Zeekr today is looking at the 001 and 009.

How it compares to rivals on CarsClub

The 9X is priced against full-size luxury SUVs and executive EVs rather than mainstream family cars. Here is where it sits relative to what is actually in stock on CarsClub right now:

Vehicle CarsClub price range (AED) Type
Zeekr 9X (new) 369,900 - 439,900 Full-size luxury EV SUV
Zeekr 009 499,001 - 649,999 Luxury electric MPV
Zeekr 001 155,000 - 200,001 Electric fastback
Mercedes-Benz V-Class 199,002 - 750,002 Luxury MPV
BMW 7 Series 329,990 - 514,998 Luxury sedan

CarsClub active listing prices, September 2026.

The interesting comparison is internal. The 9X undercuts Zeekr's own 009 MPV by a wide margin while offering more power, which suggests the 009 will feel pressure once 9X deliveries begin. Buyers looking at a 009 today may want to know the 9X exists before signing.

If you are considering an unofficial import, read official versus grey import first.

Should you wait for the 9X?

Three practical points for anyone deciding between pre-ordering and buying now.

Warranty and service network. Buying through AWR Automotive means official GCC-specification supply, a manufacturer warranty and a service network. That is worth a meaningful premium over a grey import, particularly on a high-voltage vehicle where independent repair options are limited.

Resale is unproven. Zeekr has been in the UAE for a relatively short time and there is not yet enough transaction history to judge how the 9X will hold value at three and five years. Established German flagships have known depreciation curves, unflattering as those curves are. The 9X does not yet have one. The range claims need verification. Wait for independent GCC testing before making a range-dependent buying decision.

Frequently asked questions

How much does the Zeekr 9X cost in the UAE?

The Zeekr 9X starts at AED 369,900 for the Ultra trim, AED 409,900 for the Hyper and AED 439,900 for the Obsidian. These prices were announced by Zeekr UAE and AWR Automotive on 11 September 2026. Registration, insurance and any optional extras are additional.

When can I buy a Zeekr 9X in the UAE?

Zeekr has confirmed an October 2026 UAE launch with customer deliveries beginning after that date. Pre-bookings are open now through Zeekr UAE and AWR Automotive, and the brand's flagship showroom on Sheikh Zayed Road in Dubai is the main retail location.

How much power does the Zeekr 9X have?

The Ultra trim uses a dual-motor all-wheel-drive system producing 885hp with a claimed 4.2-second 0 to 100km/h time. The Hyper and Obsidian trims use a tri-motor setup producing 1,380hp with a claimed 3.1-second sprint. Both are manufacturer figures awaiting independent GCC verification.

How fast does the Zeekr 9X charge?

Zeekr claims the 900V architecture and 6C charging allow a 20 to 80% charge in around nine minutes. That requires compatible ultra-fast charging hardware, which remains uncommon on UAE public networks, so real-world charging stops will typically take considerably longer.

Is the Zeekr 9X available used in the UAE?

No. The 9X launches in October 2026, so no used or demonstrator examples exist in the UAE market yet. Buyers wanting a Zeekr today can look at the 001 and 009, both of which are available in UAE listings.

Ready to look at Zeekr in the UAE?

The 9X is the most serious flagship Zeekr has brought to this market, and at AED 369,900 it undercuts the established luxury SUV set by a wide margin, with the usual caveats around unproven resale and range claims that need independent verification.

While you wait for October deliveries, browse the current Zeekr range on CarsClub to see what is available now, or explore the full electric car selection across the UAE. If a pre-order is not for you, the new car listings and the SUV listings carry plenty of alternatives, and the car loan calculator turns any of those prices into a monthly figure.
