2023 Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS Weissach

The 2023 Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS represents the ultimate evolution of the Cayman lineup from Porsche. For years, Porsche enthusiasts hoped for an ultra-lightweight, motorsport-inspired Cayman capable of rivaling the legendary 911 GT3. Porsche answered with the GT4 RS, creating the most extreme and performance-focused Cayman ever produced. Built with engineering directly influenced by Porsche motorsport programs, the GT4 RS transformed the Cayman into a track-ready machine while remaining road legal. Unlike the standard Cayman models focused on daily usability, the GT4 RS prioritizes precision, lightweight performance, and driver engagement. The 2023 model continues Porsche’s tradition of producing some of the purest driver’s cars in the automotive world. Performance & Engineering The 2023 Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS is powered by a 4.0-liter naturally aspirated flat-six engine borrowed from the iconic 911 GT3. Producing approximately 493 horsepower and 450 Nm of torque, the engine revs to an astonishing 9,000 rpm, delivering an emotional and race-inspired soundtrack. Power is delivered exclusively through a 7-speed PDK dual-clutch transmission, allowing lightning-fast gear changes and maximum performance. The sports car accelerates from 0 - 100 km/h in around 3.4 seconds, while top speed reaches approximately 315 km/h. Porsche also reduced weight through lightweight materials and aerodynamic optimization. Advanced suspension tuning, aerodynamic downforce, and rear differential technology help maximize grip and cornering capability.
