2025 Bentley Continental GTC

2025 Bentley Continental GT: For more than 20 years the Bentley Continental GT has been the grand touring two-door for wealthy buyers with a taste for both Louis Vuitton-style luxury and super-sedan performance. The introduction of the new 2025 model doesn’t change that – but what’s underneath the elegant skin does. Bentley has restyled the Continental GT slightly, but its two-door silhouette remains the same. Inside, whether you choose the GT Coupé or the GTC Cabrio, you can expect the same sumptuous accommodations. Under the bonnet, however, is its first-ever plug-in hybrid (PHEV) powertrain, combining a twin-turbo V8 engine with an electric motor, a dual-clutch automatic transmission and four-wheel drive. In the top-spec Speed trim, this powertrain pumps out 771 horsepower. The performance should be explosive, based on what we experienced during our prototype drive of the new model. But if you’re looking for a refined long-distance cruiser, the Continental is up to the task – its GT designation stands for ‘Grand Touring’. And it’s certainly capable of grand touring; no matter how long your journey, you’re guaranteed to arrive in the Style.

2025 Bentley Continental GT Sporting Freshened

The Continental GT enters its fourth generation for the 2025 model year with refreshed – but still recognisable – styling and a new plug-in hybrid powertrain. The new grand tourer will go on sale at the end of 2024.

Delivering 771bhp (782PS) and 1,000Nm (738lb-ft) of torque, the new Continental GT Speed can accelerate from 0-60mph in just 3.3 seconds (0-100mph in 3.3 seconds and on to 208mph*).
For an unparalleled dynamic driving experience, the Continental GT Speed features Bentley Performance’s Active Chassis Package – a collection of advanced chassis systems designed to optimise the car’s handling in all conditions.

An Electronic Limited Slip Differential (eLSD) improves rear wheel grip, enhancing traction and stability for more confident driving. In Sport mode, it significantly improves cornering dynamics, allowing you to accelerate out of bends faster and with more control.
Bentley Dynamic Ride is a 48-volt electronic anti-roll system recalibrated specifically for the Continental GT. It uses powerful electric motors to control body roll, keeping the car more stable when cornering, without compromising the car’s refinement on the straight.

All-wheel steering means that at low speeds the rear wheels steer in the opposite direction to the front wheels, reducing the car’s turning circle and improving manoeuvrability in tight spaces. At higher speeds, the rear wheels steer in the same direction as the front wheels, making lane changes and overtaking quicker and smoother than ever.

2025 Bentley Continental GT Engine

The Continental GT Speed and GTC Speed are powered by a plug-in hybrid powertrain shared with other new PHEVs from elsewhere in the Volkswagen Group’s (Bentley’s parent company) product portfolio, namely the Porsche Panamera Turbo E-Hybrid. The twin-turbo V8 engine is a 4.0-litre unit, assisted by an electric motor. The two together produce a whopping 771 horsepower, making the Bentley the most powerful road-going Continental GT to date. This powertrain is a direct replacement for Bentley’s 6.0-litre W-12 engine, which made up to 650bhp; the previous non-hybrid V8 has been discontinued, although lower-spec models are likely to be added later, and we think a detuned version of this powertrain is likely. We tested a Speed prototype on a track and found it remarkably athletic for the Continental GT’s size. The PHEV V8 has a nice sound and, according to Bentley, pulls harder.

2025 Bentley Continental GT Performance

We expect the Continental GT Hybrid to hit 60 mph in just 2.9 seconds. We’ll update this section with test results when we get our hands on one. EPA fuel economy figures have yet to be released, but don’t expect the Continental’s newly hybridised powertrain to suddenly turn this grand tourer into a gas guzzler. When we get the chance, we’ll take the 2025 Continental GT on our 75 mpg motorway route and update this story with real-world test results. Sell Your Car

2025 Bentley Continental GT Interior

It’s not a Bentley unless the interior is draped in fine leather and wood, and that’s exactly what you’ll find inside the 2025 Continental GT. Heavily padded chairs with quilted leather upholstery are comfortable all day, have 20-way electric adjustment and can be fitted with both a massage function and an automatic climate control system that activates the heating or ventilation if it senses you’re too cold or too hot. The rear seats aren’t spacious, but should be able to accommodate two adults for short trips. The GTC Cabrio has an electrically-operated soft top that opens in just 19 seconds if it starts to drizzle, and is available in seven colours. Speaking of which, buyers can customise their Continental GT to their heart’s content through the company’s Mulliner Bespoke-build customisation service. if the standard list of options doesn’t quite live up to expectations.

2025 Bentley Continental GT Technology Inside

A 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen is standard on every Continental GT, but you might not see it if you look out the window. That’s because Bentley has designed a rotating panel that can be turned to either hide the screen behind a matching piece of wood veneer or replace it with a bank of three old-school analogue gauges. The software interface is Bentley’s latest and greatest, with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. A 10-speaker stereo is standard, but two different premium audio setups are available: A 16-speaker setup tuned by Bang & Olufsen and an 18-speaker Naim system with bass transducers mounted in the front seats. used bentley for sale in dubai
