2025 Dodge Charger: Bold New Design – Reviews and First Impressions

2025 Dodge Charger: Charger muscle car to the Dodge lineup for 2025! Not only is it new and improved from the tires up, but this time it comes in two incredible models with two amazing body styles. I’m happy to say that, like the previous generation, there’ll be a four-door sedan, but this time there will also be a two-door fastback coupe in the lineup! The outgoing model’s HEMI V-8 engine is history, and in its place is a twin-turbo inline-six with either 420 or 550 horsepower feeding standard all-wheel drive. The 2025 Charger takes its styling cues from Dodge muscle cars of the 1960s and 70s, and its designers have even included retro themes inside the cabin too! The dashboard has that lovely layered look that we all know and love from the 1968 Charger, and there’s even an old-school pistol-grip shifter sprouting from the centre console! The tech inside the cabin is incredible! It’s light years ahead of anything the engineers of the 1960s could have dreamed of. It includes a 10.3- or 16.0-inch digital gauge display and a 12.3-inch infotainment screen. The 2025 Charger comes with all the driver-assistance features you could possibly need, including adaptive cruise control, traffic-sign recognition, and lane-keeping assist. It’s hard to believe that these features would have seemed like sci-fi in the ’60s! The new Charger is heading for production in early 2025, so it should grace Dodge showrooms with its sleek new look shortly after.

2025 Dodge Charger: Bold New Design – Reviews and First Impressions

In a nutshell, everything! The lovely Charger has been given a complete makeover, and despite its vintage look, it’s a very modern muscle car. It’s so modern, in fact, that there’ll even be an electric variant called the Charger Daytona on sale alongside this gas-powered model! Buy Used Dodge charger in Dubai

2025 Dodge Charger Engine & Performance

The lovely Charger comes exclusively with a twin-turbocharged inline-six called Hurricane, which is actually a version of which has already been available in the Jeep Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer. The Sixpack S.O. is a real powerhouse, delivering an impressive 420 horsepower! If you’re looking for a bit more oomph, the Sixpack H.O. model will give you 550 ponies under the hood. The H.O. isn’t the most powerful Charger model, but it’s still pretty impressive! But that title belongs to the electric Charger Daytona, which can be had with up to 670 horsepower. We’ll be taking a look at that model in a separate review, so stay tuned! The lovely gasoline-powered Charger comes with all-wheel drive and an eight-speed automatic transmission as standard. We’ll be taking the Charger to our test track as soon as we can so we can give you all the details of its acceleration in our next report.

2025 Dodge Charger Interior & Infotainment

The Charger’s interior is a lovely mix of old and new themes. The layered dash design is a lovely throwback to the Charger of the late 1960s, and the pistol-grip shift lever for the automatic transmission is a similar blast from the past. Elsewhere, digital displays and adjustable ambient lighting show you that this is a Charger for the modern age. The bucket seats up front look really spacious and comfortable, but if you’re planning to regularly haul more than one other passenger, we’d suggest considering the four-door as its rear seat appears to be more spacious than the coupe’s. The good news is that there’s plenty of room for all your luggage, as both the two-door and four-door models feature a rear liftback design rather than a standard trunk. You’ll find it’s really easy to access the storage compartment behind the rear seat.

all models will ship with a 12.3-inch infotainment display featuring Dodge’s Uconnect 5 software interface! We’ve also included a 10.3-inch digital gauge cluster as standard, but if you’d prefer something a little bigger, you can upgrade to a 16.0-inch unit on some models. And there’s more! You’ll also get SiriusXM satellite radio, in-dash navigation, and Amazon’s Alexa voice assistant. We’re really hoping Dodge will add wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto too! You’ll be able to choose from two different Alpine stereo systems, including one with 18 speakers!
